Use of Force Data

The Dunwoody Police Department values and respects the sanctity of every life—the lives of the people we serve and the lives of police officers.

All Dunwoody officers are highly trained in de-escalation techniques and alternatives to using force.

We will ensure that only force that is reasonably necessary to effectively bring an incident under control is used to protect the lives and safety of the officers and members of the public.

We will continue to collaborate with community members to develop policies and strategies to provide impartial and unbiased policing and enforce laws in a fair and equitable manner.
