Public input was critical to developing master plans for parks at 5435 Roberts Drive (now called Wildcat Park) and the property at 4809/4819 Vermack Road (now called Homecoming Park). 

The City began the master planning process for the two new park properties in July 2021. Staff held several public meetings and engaged the community through a robust public input process. The plan below was approved by Council in April 2023.

The Master Plan for Homecoming Park includes the following features:

• ADA/Sensory playground (12,000 sq. ft.)
• 3 pickleball courts*
• 2 gazebos
• Dunwoody Parks & Recreation office
• Open play field
• Wildflower meadow
• Restrooms
• Solar Panels
