Alcohol Licenses 

An alcohol privilege license is required for any establishment selling or serving alcohol beverages within the city. Wholesalers or importers in alcoholic beverages, who are licensed by the State and have a place of business in the city, are also required to obtain an alcohol privilege license.

With an alcohol privilege license, consumption on premise is allowed from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. on Monday - Saturday. With an alcohol privilege license for Sunday sales, consumption on premise is allowed from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. Earlier closing times exist for specific businesses. 

Pouring Permits

New Dunwoody pouring permit services require fingerprinting. Fingerprinting services are available Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only. Schedule by calling 678-382-6705. Please make sure to schedule an appointment after creating your pouring permit account. 

If you are renewing your pouring permit please log into your account and renew online. 

Restaurants 

New restaurants will need a Plan Review Routing sheet from Dunwoody Community Development (Permits Department) before applying for DeKalb County permits.
