The Dunwoody Art Commission introduces Art for All at Wildcat Park, a public art exhibit featuring 12 vibrant sculptures and dynamic pieces.
“These colorful, engaging, and thought-provoking pieces will give residents and visitors a new reason to stop by Wildcat Park and stay awhile,” said Dunwoody Mayor Lynn Deutsch. “I’m so pleased to see our public art program expanding and becoming more accessible to everyone.”
The artwork is spread out throughout the 12-acre park to encourage exploration. The following artists and their works are featured:
- Phil Proctor, Tethered Sail
- Gordon Chandler, Bob
- Scott Froschauer, You Are Enough, Take Note, Interstate Now/UROK
- Julia Hill, Flying Fish
- Etienne Jackson, Forward, then Back
- Huelani Mei, Kaelyn’s Butterfly Wings
- Corrina Sephora, Red Pillars: Being Before Becoming
- Luke Martin, O-verload
- Jeff Repko, Reach
- Matthias Neumann, Basics #68
“I am delighted to see Art for All at Wildcat Park come to fruition,” said Dunwoody Art Commission Member Bobbe Gillis. “My hope is that this is the first activation of this kind and that we will continue to promote meaningful and creative installations throughout Dunwoody.”
The Dunwoody Art Commission worked with ConsultArt to curate the exhibit, which is scheduled to run for up to two years. Each piece is made with durable, weather-resistant materials suitable for long-term outdoor display.
