Dunwoody, GA – March 4, 2026 – Registration is open for the City of Dunwoody’s Electronics Recycling Event, taking place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 11, at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church (1978 Mt. Vernon Rd.). This free event is open to Dunwoody residents only.

Registration is available at www.dunwoodyga.gov/electronics. During last year’s electronics recycling event, Dunwoody residents recycled 11,832 pounds of household electronics, 3,919 pounds of LCD TVs, and 1,792 pounds of CRT monitors.

“Dunwoody residents continue to lead by example when it comes to sustainability,” said Dunwoody Community Development Director Richard McLeod. “Each year, this event grows because our community understands the importance of responsible recycling and secure disposal. We’re grateful to City Council for supporting this effort and to our partners who help make it possible.”

Items accepted for recycling include monitors, desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, keyboards, servers, networking gear, circuit boards, RAM & CPU, wires & cables, hard drives and memory cards (HDD, SSD, SD), digital cameras, GPS units, speakers, copiers, ink and toner, scanners, projectors, game consoles, phone systems, lab and medical equipment, point of sale systems, microwaves, DVD players, and barcode scanners.

Items that are not accepted include cracked LCD TVs and monitors, broken/bare CRT TVs and monitors, light bulbs, radioactive material, hazardous waste, any liquid, and paint. There will be no paper shredding at this event.

Electronics recycling will be handled by eWaste ePlanet, ensuring 100% data security and zero waste to landfills. This event is made possible through the efforts of Dunwoody Community Development staff, the Dunwoody Sustainability Committee, and St. Luke’s Green Team.
