Dunwoody, GA – August 6, 2025 - Fraud Alert! We’re investigating a series of fraudulent emails sent to residents and businesses with planning-related applications filed with the City of Dunwoody. These include zoning and variance cases and special administrative permits. The emails request payment by electronic wire transfer. This is a RED flag. The City never uses wire transfers for these matters.

 Another clue – the emails are coming from the Planning Commission, which typically does not send direct correspondence. And “Planinng” is misspelled. If you receive a suspicious email or have questions, don’t hesitate to call us at 678-382-6808.
