Update (9/25/2024) Paving of the Dunwoody Library parking lot is complete. Paving of the north lots and main drive in front of Spruill is scheduled for next week with striping to follow.

Update (9/23/2024): Please be aware - driveway and parking lot improvements at the Dunwoody Library and Dunwoody Cultural Arts Center are continuing and are on schedule to be completed before the start of early voting.

During the week of Sept. 16, the library parking lot was partially closed to allow crews to begin reconstructing the pavement. The initial milling stage involved taking it down the dirt to rebuild the underlying base.

Paving of the lot will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 24, and the library lot will reopen once completed. Note that weather could impact the schedule, but the work will be done before early voting starts in mid-October. Parking will be available at the north end of the Dunwoody Cultural Arts Center property.

The improvements will bring parking into compliance with current ADA standards. Paving of the northern lots will come later. Opening hours at Spruill, Stage Door, and the Library will continue as usual through construction. Please be patient, drive carefully, and give crews the room they need to work.

August update:

The south entrance to the library is permanently closed, moving the main access point farther from the intersection to improve safety and traffic flow. The north loop in front of the Spruill Center for the Arts is now wider and open to two-way traffic. The connector road between the library and cultural arts center is open to two-way traffic. This is now your main access point for the library.
