Dunwoody, GA - July 8, 2024 - At 4:43am, officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on I-285 WB at Chamblee Dunwoody Rd. Officers arrived to find six vehicles involved in a crash.

Three vehicles were involved in a crash at the above location. A second collision occurred causing a chain reaction with several other vehicles. One of the drivers involved in the initial crash was outside their vehicle and struck by other vehicles. That driver succumbed to their injuries on scene. Five other people involved in the crash were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim has been identified as 38 year-old Victor Dimas-Paniagua of Doraville.

This crash is under investigation and anyone with additional information is asked to contact Officer Smith.
