Dunwoody, GA - June 12, 2024 - On June 9, 2024, at 3:24 p.m., Dunwoody Police responded to a person shot at 100 Perimeter Lofts Circle. Once on scene, officers located the victim, Edward Taylor of Dunwoody (39 Years old), and immediately rendered first aid. The victim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical but stable condition. 

The offender,Josiah Davis of Macon (17 years old), was located shortly after on the property and taken into custody without incident. He was charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm during the commission of a Felony, two counts of Criminal Damage 1st degree and Possession of a Handgun by person under 18 years old. Mr. Davis was transported to DeKalb County Jail. 

This incident was the result of a dispute over stolen property the day prior. The victim saw the offender and confronted him about his property which escalated to the shooting.
