Dunwoody, GA – On April 25th, 2021, at approximately 03:20 AM, Dunwoody Police officers were dispatched to a person shot in the parking deck of 1030 Crown Pointe Parkway. Officers and paramedics arrived to find an adult male deceased in a motor vehicle.

Dunwoody Police investigators responded to the scene and began an investigation into what led up to the shooting. The deceased has been identified as Mr. Phazeon Harris, age 18, of Atlanta.

As a result of the investigation, criminal arrest warrants were taken for Mr. Gemero Anderson, age 18, of Lithia Springs, GA, for Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. Mr. Anderson turned himself in to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office without incident and is currently in custody at the DeKalb County Jail. It is believed at this time that the accused and victim were known to each other.
