With more than 200 acres of green space, Dunwoody residents and visitors, of all ages, can enjoy the many activities found in any one of the city's seven major parks. Dunwoody's parks are home to several major events each year and offer a variety of activities including skateboarding, tennis, and more.

The City of Dunwoody takes pride in its facilities it has available so that citizens of all ages can play. Whether baseball is your passion or walking your activity of choice, the City of Dunwoody has a wealth of recreation resources for you to enjoy.

Park Facility Rentals

The City of Dunwoody offers a number of rental facility locations available for private parties, birthdays, family reunions and corporate events. View reservations and availability.

In addition to private pavilion reservations, several of our multi-sport fields will be available for rental in the upcoming months. The Athletic Association Manual applies to organizations that hold Usage Agreements with the City of Dunwoody. Please see Appendix for pricing for public use. 

Instructor Application

Have you ever considered sharing your talent or passion with others? The City of Dunwoody Parks & Rec Department is looking for new instructors to teach programs! All program proposals are welcome. Applications can be requested from Kate Borden at kate.borden@dunwoodyga.gov.

Parks & Facilities

Located at the corner of Vernon Springs Drive and Vernon Oaks Drive, next door to 5127 Vernon Springs Drive, at .5-acre, Vernon Oaks Park is a hidden gem tucked into a tree lined Dunwoody neighborhood. This pocket park features a walking trail, seating, and a stone spring house.

Vernon Oaks Park is a unique pocket park, featuring an original spring house built by early area settlers. The park offers a quiet and serene setting for visitors and residents to read, sit, and relax.
