With more than 200 acres of green space, Dunwoody residents and visitors, of all ages, can enjoy the many activities found in any one of the city's seven major parks. Dunwoody's parks are home to several major events each year and offer a variety of activities including skateboarding, tennis, and more.

The City of Dunwoody takes pride in its facilities it has available so that citizens of all ages can play. Whether baseball is your passion or walking your activity of choice, the City of Dunwoody has a wealth of recreation resources for you to enjoy.

Park Facility Rentals

The City of Dunwoody offers a number of rental facility locations available for private parties, birthdays, family reunions and corporate events. View reservations and availability.

In addition to private pavilion reservations, several of our multi-sport fields will be available for rental in the upcoming months. The Athletic Association Manual applies to organizations that hold Usage Agreements with the City of Dunwoody. Please see Appendix for pricing for public use. 

Instructor Application

Have you ever considered sharing your talent or passion with others? The City of Dunwoody Parks & Rec Department is looking for new instructors to teach programs! All program proposals are welcome. Applications can be requested from Kate Borden at kate.borden@dunwoodyga.gov.

The Dunwoody Cultural Arts Center is a multi-arts complex conjoined to the Dunwoody Library.

The Dunwoody Cultural Arts Center offers programs and classes for art enthusiasts of all ages looking to explore the incredible world of the arts. The Spruill Center for the Arts, Stage Door Players, the Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild and the Dunwoody Library are all proud to call the Dunwoody Cultural Arts Center home.

Stage Door Players

Stage Door Theatre season 50 logoStage Door Players is dedicated to bringing a professional level of live theatre to the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta area. Stage Door Players produces a full season of professional theatre, the Stage Door Canteen cabaret series, and launched Stage Door Jr. in February 2006, a special series of Saturday productions for children. These shows are both educational and entertaining for young audiences and their adult guests.

Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild

Chattahoochee Handweavers GuildThe Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild is a non-profit organization that welcomes everyone with a love of fiber arts. Weavers and other fiber artisans come from all parts of Georgia and many of the surrounding states to meet, exchange creative ideas, and get inspiration for their work. People with no experience learn about weaving and other fiber arts and experienced artisans share their knowledge and grow together.
