Collision Avoidance Training (C.A.T.) for Teens
Recognizing that automobile crashes are the leading cause of teenage injuries and deaths, reducing these premature deaths in our community is a priority. To help ensure we reach our goal, we have adopted the Collision Avoidance Training (C.A.T.) Program for teenage drivers and will plan many of our traffic safety initiatives around this program. This advanced defensive driver training program has been very successful aiding law enforcement agencies in reducing teenage crashes. We have been impressed with the program’s success through partnerships with other law enforcement agencies and we are confident it will be as successful in Dunwoody. This training program truly provides “Driving Skills for Life” and we hope every parent of a teenage driver or soon to be driver will enroll their son or daughter in this life saving program.
