Did you Know? EIGHTY PERCENT of the imports received by the Port of Savannah are shipped through Atlanta. We are directly affected by the expansion and the ongoing work at the Savannah Port. Page Siplon and the Center of Innovation for Logistics provide a unique platform for companies to address the issues surrounding the challenge of moving goods from the port to all portions of the United States. He will discuss the economic impact of Georgia’s logistics network on the Atlanta region, particularly Dunwoody, home to several transportation and logistics companies. Siplon heads the State’s leading resource for fueling logistics industry growth and global
competitiveness. The Center directly assists companies with overcoming challenges and capitalizing on opportunities related to the movement of freight by providing focused expertise, specific industry data, leveraging state resources, and connections to an extensive cross-sector industry network.
