Please plan to attend our next round of Public Information Open Houses (PIOHs).  

This is an open house style meeting with no formal presentation. Concept designs and potential footprints for the alternatives will be displayed on aerial photography, and the results of the benefits and impacts assessment will be provided along with information on the next steps. The public will also have the opportunity to provide feedback regarding the project and ask questions.

revive285 top end is an innovative approach by the Georgia Department of Transportation in conjunction with the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority to develop a comprehensive solution for the vital top end of the I-285 corridor.  The focus of revive285 top end is to develop an overall corridor concept for the portion of I-285 extending from I-75 to I-85 that will:

• complete the level of environmental study required to advance to final design and construction


• incorporate each of the separate projects currently planned and programmed in the corridor


• examine projects for opportunities for enhancement to maximize their benefit to the corridor


• consider the information and data available from numerous relevant studies, projects, and programs

The revive285 top end corridor also includes the portion of I-75 from Windy Hill Road to I-285.
