In order to gather public input five thematic meetings were planned and conducted.  

NEW! Character Area Meetings

 
At the recommendation of the Steering Committee, Mayor and Council have approved five additional community meetings to focus on specific areas in Dunwoody.  As each one of these new meetings focuses on specific area(s) of Dunwoody, each meeting will be held in a different location, please check back as those locations are confirmed.

  • Dunwoody Village Area Discussion
  • Georgetown/Shallowford Area Discussion
    • Tuesday, January 5th at 7:00 p.m.
    • Location: Atrium at Georgetown Park
      • 4355 Georgetown Square
  • Jett Ferry Area and Tilly Mill Area Discussions
    • Tuesday, January 12th at 7:00 p.m.
    • Location: Jewish Community Center
      • 5342 Tilly Mill Road
  • Winters Chapel Area Discussion
    • Thursday, January 21st at 7:00 p.m.
    • Location: Congregation Beth Shalom
      • 5303 Winters Chapel Road

What to expect:

  • Overview of the comprehensive plan process and its main features
  • Presentation of proposed vision, future development ideas for area being discussed, based on earlier meetings
  • Discussion of a vision for the future for that specific character area
  • Opportunity to provide feedback and input
