Construction Permits
ALL construction activities with in the City of Dunwoody must be permitted through the Community Development Department. This ensures that all construction is done in accordance with the codes set forth by the City of Dunwoody, DeKalb County and the State of Georgia.
Please read over the following items and pick the link most appropriate for your project:
For all NEW Commercialm Projects & Residential Homes. For additions to existing Single-Family Homes, please see the Site Plan Requirements under the Single-Family Residential link below.
Please use the link above if your project is located in a commercial or multi-family zoning district or if your project is a commercial use in ANY residential zoning district.
This includes deck, pools, additions, storage sheds. Please use the link above if your project is a residential use in a single-family residential zoning district
Please use the link above if your project does not require a full building project. Examples include: water heater, air conditioning and/or furnace replacement.
