Speed Trailer Results

The Dunwoody Police Department routinely receives  complaints about speeding motorists.  We take these complaints serious.  We want all motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists to be able to travel around Dunwoody safely.  One of the tools we use to help combat this problem is a Speed Trailer.  This trailer is a portable device that measures the speed of cars as they approach and flashes the cars speed as well.  It has a computer which collects data we can analyze to identify the severity of the speeding problem and the worst times for speeding.  This helps the department deploy limited resources more efficiently.

Here are the results of our speed trailer deployments.
