The recycling committee was originally created to help initiate recycling in our local schools. Once that goal was accomplished and recycling programs were established, the committee has moved on to other projects. One of the recycling committee’s current projects is research into commercial recycling statistics for the City. With those statistics, the committee will be able to make recommendations and provide guidance for smart business working to navigate the many decisions faced when rolling out a recycling program.
