Not many cities have the transportation possibilities that Dunwoody has been afforded through MARTA, accessibility to I-285 and GA 400, as well as a comprehensive network of surface roads that are being made increasingly accessible to pedestrian and bicycle traffic. In fact, Dunwoody’s smart location has been a feature of the city since the construction of the Roswell Railroad along what is now Chamblee Dunwoody road in the late 1800’s. The transportation committee will continue to promote alternative transportation options and ways to get the most efficiency from our automobile traffic.
