2013 Summary

In 2013, the Zoning Board of Appeals heard 24 cases –containing a total of 39 requests. Almost 80% of those requests were related to Chapter 27, Zoning Ordinances, with more than half of those requests related to setback issues. The majority of setback cases, ten, to be specific, occurred in single-family residential zoning districts. Single-family residential uses requested the most variances in 2013 –setback reductions being the highest request and stream buffer variances being the second highest.
