Dunwoody’s Adopt-A-Spot program seeks to encourage the public to adopt designated areas in city right-of-way by installing and/or maintaining landscape features. Individuals, organizations, associations, groups or businesses are all welcome to apply to keep a designated “spot” in the city landscaped and clear of litter for a minimum of two years. In exchange, a sign bearing their name can be posted in the area. At the completion of the time period, the volunteers will receive a special certificate of appreciation and may renew their agreement.

Once you’ve chosen a spot, fill out the application below with your information and submit it to our department. You can mail or hand-deliver the form into City Hall or you can e-mail it to
