• Do you have any open positions?

  Open positions are listed on the Career Opportunities page of the City website under the heading “Current Opportunities.”

• Do you accept applications and/or resumes for positions that are not currently open?

  We only accept applications and/or resumes for positions that are listed on our website under the headings of “Current Opportunities” or “Apply Now for Future Opportunities.”  Any other submissions will not be filed or stored. 

• Can I receive notification when positions open?

  Yes.  On the Career Opportunities page, click on the link at the top of the page that says, “Click here to receive career updates by e-mail.”

• How will I know if you received my application and/or resume?

  All submissions sent to jobs@dunwoodyga.gov receive an automated reply acknowledging receipt. 

• Will I be contacted by the City of Dunwoody once I have applied for a position?

  Due to the volume of applications received, the City may only contact those who are selected to advance in the recruitment process.

• How can I tell if a certain position is still open?

  If the position is posted on our website under the heading of “Current Opportunities,” it is still open.  If you no longer see the job posting for which you applied, the position has been closed.

• Can I submit one application and/or resume for multiple open positions?

  No.  We require a separate application and/or resume for each position.

• Am I required to complete an application, or can I send a resume instead?

  Each job posting contains application instructions for that particular position.  Please follow the instructions within the job posting for which you are applying.

• How long will a position be posted?

  Unless stated otherwise in the job posting, all positions are “open until filled.”
